A blessing

You are always a blessing
that every parent hoped for
wished for, longed for, and prayed for.

From the moment you were made
They wanted to inculcate on your mind and heart
that you were made out of love

And that you are love as much as your parents love each other
and sometimes you are even love more than you expected
More than any parent can expect how much they will love you

You are their precious gem
Gentle as a newborn baby
and sparkling as a priceless stone.

That's how much your parents loves you
and that's how they value you as an individual
You are a blessing
any parent could have.

Perfect Mother

Your heart is big. Your love is pure. You want the best for me and care about everything I'm going through. You often put my needs above your own and overlook my mistakes. You love me without condition. Whatever I am and whatever I do is okay with you. You accept me... all of me. You're more than I could ever hoped for in a mother. You're my perfect mother, and I'm so thankful for you.

You're always there, to hear my complaints, to share my joy, to feel my pain, to listen to my latest adventure, to advise me, to cry with me, to hope for me, to laugh with me, to forgive me when I do something dumb. I've never heard a harsh word from you that wasn't justified. I've never seen selfishness from you, only a mother who gives her love freely, happily, joyfully, and perfectly.

Thank You Mom!

Father

For as long as I can remember
you have been by my side
to give me support
to give me confidence
to give me help

For as long as I can remember
You have always been the one
I looked up to
so strong
so sensitive
so handsome

For as long as I can remember
and still today
You are everything a father should be

For as long as I can remember
You have always provided stability
within our family
full of laughter
full of tears
full of love

So much of what I have become
is because of you
And I want you to know that
I appreciate you, thank you,
and love you
more than words can express

This poem is for my dad.
I salute you!

PINK

Being tagged as a lady in pink gives me self-satisfaction. With all honesty every time I get to see something or someone wearing with this kind of color it uplifts my spirit for a lot of reasons, like the brightness that it has and I used to remember my favorite Sanrio character which is Hello Kitty.

I started collecting pink stuffs when I was in High School. When I turned College I used to wear pink everyday that's why I was tagged as the lady in pink in our batch. Now, I'm not wearing pink everyday like what I did few years back. But the passion of collecting still continues.

Hurray to all Pink Lovers!

What is like being a middle child?

Being a middle child is not that easy for it requires a lot of adjustments. I need to readily adopt to my sister's older image because I have a younger brother. I also have to follow her and portray a good example towards my younger brother. But how about me being a younger and older sister? Sometimes, I am thorn if where I am suppose to stand. Well, I guess I just have to balance everything.

The good thing about being a middle child is the privilege of being love and being able to portray these roles simultaneously. And everyday I get the chance to deal and learn from someone whose older and younger than me.

Contemporary Atheist?

I have this new-found-friend who shared almost all of her life experiences to me. I can say that I got interested with her life story. I just wanted to share it here since I think it will have a moral lesson to everyone. She quoted "I am a contemporary atheist." Hearing that from her pains me and made me realized I have to work more in order for her to realize why believing is vital.

Here's the thing, most of us focused on the sorrows that we had or have right now. Isn't it much important that we should remember the days of blessings and forget the days of sorrows? How does that sound guys?

Well, what I believed is that God moves in mysterious ways. And what we have right now is indeed the best not just for our own selves but for all of us. If you are experiencing pains or sorrows right now, it could be a blessing in disguise. Just believe in the power of the Lord.

Maybe most of you are wondering why I have this kind of faith and optimism, well it is because I am blessed. When I say blessed--it not just counts the literal meaning of blessings but I also consider each pain as a blessing in disguise.

I just want to reiterate that it is most important to keep that faith within ourselves and drop all those questions why things did not go the way we wanted it to be. For in a certain time, we will have it. If not now, maybe tomorrow is the best time.

Welcome!

Well obviously I'm a newbie here at blogger. I'm trying to explore my computer and communication skills that's why I decided to create my own blog.

I started blogging when I got my first social network site - - Friendster and by then I used to post blogs. Eventually, I started joining some other social networks like My Space, Facebook, Yahoo Messenger, Twitter and Multiply. It just came to a point that I've realized that I need to have my own blogger account.

I love looking at others blogs and reading their posts that's why I am too inspired of having my own too and I just love having it NOW!
